workspacesettings
Location, currency, time zone, policy and the apps your team sees.
Where to find it
Owners and administrators open Administration → Security Policy. Changes apply to everyone in the workspace immediately and are written to the audit trail.
Company details
- Company name: shown in the app and on your public website.
- Business location: decides how numbers, dates and money are formatted (for example
₱1,234.50in the Philippines,1.234,50 €in Germany). - Currency: your base currency, used for the books and reports. It can be changed freely until your books contain posted amounts. After that it's locked, because changing it would relabel your figures without converting them.
- Time zone: used for dates, schedules, bookings and reports.
Need to invoice in other currencies? That's separate from your base currency; see Invoicing, accounting & currencies.
Security policy
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enforce two-factor | Everyone must set up two-factor before using the apps |
| Idle sign-out | Minutes of inactivity before a session ends (5–720) |
| Password expiry | Optional, 30–730 days |
| IP allowlist | Only listed addresses or ranges can use the workspace |
Details for each: Security & two-factor.
Turning apps on or off
Open All apps. Each app can be switched on or off for the whole workspace:
- Off: the app disappears from every menu, and its pages, public pages and API are blocked, even for people whose role would allow it.
- On again: everything comes back exactly as it was. Nothing is deleted when you switch an app off.
- Contacts is always on, because sales, purchasing, invoicing and marketing all rely on it.
Custom fields
Add your own fields to records (for example a Customer tier on contacts) with the Custom Fields app, without code. See API, webhooks & custom fields.
